Catch up time!!

Well it's been awhile since my last blog. Things have been kind of hectic. We are trying to finish the bathroom downstairs before my family comes for the 4th of July. The woman that I am thinks that this should be a simple project. So I tell PJ to just list everything out that we need to get it finished and I will work it into the budget and get it done. I was thinking a few short lists, oh no a 250 row Excel spreadsheet later, I finally realized that it is going to be a lot of work. We are almost done with the framing and insulation. PJ had to rent a jack hammer and move a couple of the pipes to get the sink and shower where we wanted them. Next on the list drywall :(
Besides all the work we managed to get some great tickets to the 4th Nashville Predators playoff hockey game. We were 3 rows back from the tunnel that the team walks out of and about 10 rows behind the team bench. It was really neat to be that close to see and hear what goes on. I also got to go see Bon Jovi in concert with my friend Ashley and her mom. Her mom's birthday is in June but she is a huge Bon Jovi fan so Ashley got ticket and surprised her early.

I am getting so anxious for this summer. PJ and I are planning a trip to the Smokey Mountains some time soon. We just need to get away for a short trip, plus PJ says that I really need to go to Dollywood at least once in my life.
